Blueworx Voice Response defines that the state of the channels in the system is the responsibility of the signaling process. In the case of trunks configured for operation with a signaling process, there is a protocol for the system manager to communicate requests for changes of channel state to the signaling process.
The Blueworx Voice Response signaling interface defines a set of management primitives. These primitives flow from the system manager to the signaling process across the signaling interface and allow the signaling process to perform the actions required by the system manager in a manner specific to the signaling protocol.
