Some of these alarms apply only to T1 systems, and some apply only to E1
systems, as shown in Table 1.

Note: When using a common channel signaling process on an E1 trunk,
if Blueworx Voice Response detects a fault condition, it automatically sends the correct response
to the network. This is in addition to notifying the signaling process by
sending the SL_TRUNK_ALARM_REQ primitive. Multiframe level alarms
are indicated by setting bit 6 of timeslot 16 of frame 0 to 0 (see ITU-T Recommendation G.704-1991/Table 9). Frame level alarms are indicated
by setting bit 3 of timeslot 0 to 1 in those frames which do not carry the frame alignment signal (see ITU-T Recommendation G.704-1991/Table 4a).
