Introduction Blueworx Voice Response uses two types of digital trunk adapter: the DTTA and the DTNA. These types of digital trunk adapter contain, respectively, four TPACKs or four NPACKs. Monitoring the operation of Blueworx Voice Response includes monitoring the operation of each of the packs in use.
Monitoring and changing pack operating status The System Monitor window enables you to control the status of each trunk and all the telephony channels belonging to it while Blueworx Voice Response is running.
Changing the primary D-channel in an NFAS group If you have configured non-facility associated signaling on your ISDN trunks, you might have set up a backup D-channel as well as a primary D-channel. If the primary D-channel goes out of service, the backup automatically takes over the transport of signaling traffic. You can use the channel operating status window to manually disable the primary D-channel and force the backup D-channel to take over.
