Starting a voice response node remotely from the system management console

After adding a voice response NodeName entry to the default.cff file, run dtjconf to import it into the configuration database.

To start the new node remotely:

  1. On the target Blueworx Voice Response system, select Configuration -> System Configuration -> Change -> General -> Start Java and VoiceXML Environment Automatically. Set this parameter to Disabled.
  2. Shut down the target Blueworx Voice Response system and then restart it.
  3. Start the HostManager on the Blueworx Voice Response host, by running the dtjshost command.
  4. Start the plex from the system management console, by running the following command: 
    dtjplex -action startHost -host hostname
