To modify the state tables for existing applications so that they can answer
calls:
- If it is not already running, start Blueworx Voice Response for AIX .
- From the Welcome window, click Applications —> State Tables to display the State Tables window.
- From the list of state table applications displayed, select the state
table for the application that you want to modify and open it for editing.
Note: Do not modify the JavaApplication state table as this is used to route all calls to the Java and VoiceXML environment, which
includes CCXML.
- Select Options —> Show Action Palette.
- Select the AnswerCall icon in the PhoneLine folder
of the Action Palette and drag it to the work area. The AnswerCall action establishes a connection between the caller and
Blueworx Voice Response for an incoming call.
- Double-click on the AnswerCall action in the state table to display
the Action AnswerCall window.
- Type a label name for the action in the State Label field.
- Type a meaningful description for the action in the Description field.
- Type a label name in the Not Ringing field so that your application
can deal with the situation where a connection cannot be established.
- Click File —> Validate and Save to update the
state table.
- Click File —> Close to close the editor window.
