You can create an ASCII file of prompt statements outside Blueworx Voice Response and import the file into a Blueworx Voice Response prompt. If you import into an existing prompt, the new information overwrites the existing prompt. You can also export Blueworx Voice Response prompts to a file in the AIX file system. If the file is not empty, the exported prompt overwrites the existing data.
When you import a prompt you must validate it.
If you want to import or export a prompt or a prompt directory in Blueworx Voice Response archived (Export) format, use the Import/Export utility described in the Blueworx Voice Response for AIX: Designing and Managing State Table Applications information.
In addition to the procedures described below and in Exporting prompts for importing and exporting prompts, you can use the DTprompt command to import and export prompts, as described inThe DTprompt command.
