The daemon might be started using the following command line options.
dtsnmpd -p -e -a 100 -n 10 -t 4
This specifies trap-directed polling and that traps should be raised in response to alarms. The last 100 alarms are to be kept available for enquiry. A summary trap is to be sent after every 10 alarms or within 4 seconds if at least one alertable alarm has occurred.
