- GlobalContext
- The global prefix of a location. For example, a node situated in New
Mexico in the USA could have GlobalContext=+1505, or a node situated
in Winchester in the UK could have GlobalContext=+441962. Note
the use of the "+", which indicates that the number is an international number
starting with the country code of the location.
- LocalContext
- A local prefix of a location. For example a node situated in New Mexico
in the USA could have LocalContext=505, or a node situated in Winchester
in the UK could have LocalContext=1962. Note that the LocalContext
is not an absolute definition of a location, it is relative to an assumed
and undefined sub-area of a network. For example LocalContext=505 defines
a location in any sub-area of a network where a local access code can be followed
by a string of digits starting with 505 in order to reach the node.
- InternationalAccess
- The digits that need to be dialed from the node in order to make an
international telephone call. For example for a Voice Response node that is
connected directly to the public telephone network you might have InternationalAccess=011 for a node in the USA, or InternationalAccess=00 for a node
in the UK.
