dtjshost script

The HostManager enables communication between all the hosts in the Blueworx Voice Response Java and VoiceXML Environment. A HostManager must be running in each host on which you are running a voice response node or an application node. This script must be run on every host in the complex, before you can do anything else, such as starting the nodes or applications, or importing voice segments.

The dtjshost script also does the following:

• Starts the redirection of CCXML and VoiceXML application logging to a user logging application by invoking the user.log.class defined in dtj.ini, if both of the following properties in the dtj.ini file are configured and active (not commented out):

  user.log.classpath
  user.log.class

• Starts the sending of alarms from the Java and VoiceXML environment based on the alarm properties files.

By adding the -exit switch, the dtjshost script can also be used to stop the HostManager, the user logging application, and Java and VoiceXML environment alarm monitoring. You must stop any nodes that are running before you stop the HostManager.
