Throughout this documentation, and in the supplied scripts, commands, and batch files, we assume that there is only one configuration, named “default”, defined in the database. However, it is possible to have more than one configuration defined: when you start the HostManager, you specify the specific configuration you want to use. If you want to use this feature, you need to consider the implications for the scripts. For example, dtjconf is designed to import the default.cff file to create the default configuration. Again, unless you have a really good reason, having more than one configuration is inadvisable.
You can list the configurations in the database by using the dtjconf -action list command.
