Before you can test the applications you write in the examples, you need some voice segments.
When you install Blueworx Voice Response for AIX, voice segment .wav files and a control file called impexp.cfv are installed into the /var/dirTalk/DTBE/samples/javaAPI directory. Before you can use these voice segments, you must import them into Java. See Importing the voice segments into Java for details.
You can of course record your own segments; as long as you use the same names as the sample segments, you can use the same control file to import them.
