Blueworx Voice Response is a proven platform for delivering
service provider services. It is an open platform running
on AIX with CCXML,
and VoiceXML industry-standard programming environments, as well as legacy voice programming
environments for its existing customers.
Blueworx Voice Response is resilient and highly scalable, as a result of its:
- IBM Power and AIX support, which meets
NEBS compliance.
- High scalability, with up to 480 channels per Power system, or clusters of systems for large
installations.
- VoIP/SIP software, enabling the platform to support next generation service provider networks
with both existing service provider applications or services and new on demand next generation
services.
- High-performance platform that allows some mass calling applications to be run.
- Scalable, redundant and resilient centralized application management:
- for VoiceXML and CCXML programming environments through application servers such as WebSphere Application Server
- for state table and custom server applications to over 2000 ports, through IBM PowerHA and
Blueworx Voice Response Single System Image (SSI) clusters.
Unified Messaging for Blueworx Voice Response can use this
scalability to provide voicemail support for large systems.
By adding MRCP-V1.0 or V2.0-compliant speech technologies, the service provider applications can
support conversational speech and make the caller interaction more natural and friendly manner. They
can also drive new services that are not easily achievable with DTMF interaction.
