In Blueworx Voice Response every configured channel is a member of a channel group. A channel group contains one or more channels on one or more trunks. The channel group parameters define trunk protocols and other signaling criteria for all the channels in a channel group. The signaling process is defined on a per-channel group basis. Blueworx Voice Response state tables specify a set of permitted channel groups, when making calls. Channel groups are numbered from SL_MIN_CHANNEL_GROUP_ID1 (currently set to 1) through SL_MAX_CHANNEL_GROUP_ID1 (currently set to 16). Channel group identifiers are type int.
For more information on how to define channel groups and specify the signaling process to be used, see Blueworx Voice Response for AIX: Configuring the System information.
