The specification for SIP includes definitions for the Call-ID header which contains a unique call identifier, and also the Call-Info header which provides additional information about the caller or callee, depending on whether it relates to a request or response. Blueworx Voice Response for AIX Version 6.1 now supports these headers for an INVITE request, allowing the header information to be used in state table, VoiceXML, and CCXML applications.
Additionally, up to ten user-configurable SIP headers can now be specified for use with INVITE requests on incoming and outgoing calls, and also with some other outbound SIP messages. This header information can be used in state table, VoiceXML, and CCXML applications.
The SIP Invite To and From headers are always processed by Version 6.1 but the processing of the other SIP headers above is controlled by a configuration file. See How Blueworx Voice Response processes incoming SIP Invites for more information.
