The minimum amount of RAM (specified in Minimum requirements) allows Blueworx Voice Response to support
up to 12 channels (when using state tables), with no 3270 terminal
emulation, voice messaging, or speech recognition. If this is insufficient
for your applications, you need to take the following factors into
consideration:
- The number of channels you need to process (see Estimating telephony traffic).
- The number of active host sessions (remote host,
custom server, or local database) you need to run at the same time.
For example, if you need to support 30 channels and 30 sessions of
3270 terminal emulation, you need 2 GB of RAM.
- The type of applications you intend to run. For example,
if you need to support 120 channels with voice messaging you need
a minimum of 2 GB of RAM.
- Whether you use ISDN.
- Whether you use DTNA for Voice over IP/SIP.
- Whether you use Java, VoiceXML or state table applications.
