General
- CCXML is recommended
for providing capabilities such as outbound calling
and other advanced CTI functions, although applications that use a
combination
of both VoiceXML and Java are also supported.
- VoiceXML is
recommended for developing voice dialogs.
- State tables can
be used to access fax, ADSI, and TDD devices.
- Custom servers
can be used to extend the capabilities of the Blueworx Voice Response platform.
- When CCXML is not configured for call handling, application profiles
route
each incoming call to a specific state table or to the Java and VoiceXML environment.
- After
CCXML has routed calls to the Java and VoiceXML environment, they
can be handled by VoiceXML
or Java applications, according to a configuration file.
