The functions of the Brooktrout fax feature are
listed here:
- A state table interface for sending and receiving faxes.
- A fax-queueing mechanism to allow outgoing faxes to be queued
and sent after a specified time delay (Two-call functionality)
- Utilities for viewing the contents of the fax queue and for manipulating
the fax queue.
- Faxing of single, named TIFF files.
- Faxing of single, named text files.
- Ability to fax lists of files. These files can be TIFF or text
or a mixture of the two types.
- Headers and Footers (Value Added Text).
Note: Headers and Footers are set on a system-wide basis using the
BFIT tool (see
Brooktrout Fax Interface Tool). They cannot be
changed from a state table.
