When can I use ISDN Two B-channel transfer?

Blueworx Voice Response implements the ISDN Two B-channel transfer protocol that is defined in the Bellcore document Generic Requirements for ISDN PRI Two B-Channel Transfer, GR-2865-CORE Issue 2.

Blueworx Voice Response supports one specific version of ISDN Two B-channel transfer:

• Nortel DMS-100 at release level NA012.

  This version is described in the document NT - NI Primary Rate User Network Interface Specification,publication number NIS-A233-1, standard release 05.03, issue date 3rd August 1999.

Blind ISDN Two B-channel transfer is also supported by Blueworx Voice Response.

To use ISDN Two B-channel transfer, you must:

1. Configure your telephony trunk to supply ISDN with two B-channel transfer.
2. Ensure your Nortel switch is running the specified level of software.
3. Connect your trunk to the Nortel switch.
