Parameter group
Channel Group
Explanation
Some channel associated signaling
(CAS) protocols (such as E&M and R2) provide positive far-end
hang-up detection by using the signaling bits. This parameter specifies
whether Blueworx Voice Response is
to take notice of other sources of far-end hang-up indication, such
as constant or cadenced energy tone detection or exchange data link
signaling. This parameter is ignored if a common channel signaling
(CCS) protocol is being used, or if the signaling protocol does not
provide positive far-end hang-up detection.
- No
- If the signaling protocol supports far-end hang-up detection using
the signaling bits, Blueworx Voice Response ignores
other sources of far-end hang-up indication. For example, even if
a constant hang-up tone is detected, a state table continues.
- Yes
- Blueworx Voice Response takes
notice of other sources of far-end hang-up indication whether or not
the signaling protocol supports far-end hang-up detection using the
signaling bits. For example, when a constant hang-up tone is detected,
a state table ends (assuming that the Hang Up Detection parameter
is set to Constant Energy Detection).
