Compiling your scripts

You must compile your ADSI scripts before you can use them in a Blueworx Voice Response ADSI application. To do this, use the supplied compiler, adsicomp.

The ADSI compiler takes an input source file and creates a binary object file:

• If the input file is an SDC script, of file type .sdc, the compiler creates an object file of type .sdc.out.
• If the input file is an FDM script, of file type .fdm, the compiler creates an object file of type .fdm.out.

You can download the compiled binary object files to the ADSI telephone by using the ADSI and ADSI_FDM state tables.

The name of the file to be accessed, together with the name of the function to be executed within that file, are passed on the call to the ADSI state table.
