BVR provides support for createsession (Session Creation Event I/O Processor) and basichttp (Basic HTTP Event I/O Processor) requests using the HTTP protocol by default on port 1971. This support can be extended to allow the use of the HTTPS protocol by setting the https_server_port option described in CCXML Configuration Options. Also, if required, support for the HTTP protocol can be removed by setting the http_server_port to 0.
