Installation Validation

On a new installation the Blueworx Platform can be started using the default configuration files (with the necessary amendments on a multi-system setup) and it is possible to make a call into a sample VoiceXML application.

Note: You must ensure that all the appropriate ports are open before attempting the call. See here for more details: Network Requirements

To ensure all components are installed correctly and interacting as they should be, attempt to make a call into the sample application once all components are running. To do this:

First, start BRM using:

BRM will then prompt you to read and accept a license. Read and accept the license to continue. If BRM fails to start, please refer to Problem Determination.

Once this has successfully started, start BVR, using:

BVR will then prompt you to read and accept a license. Read and accept the license to continue. If BVR fails to start, please refer to Problem Determination.

Now make a call into the sample application using a SIP phone. The URI for the sample application will be: If successful, a message saying "Welcome, Blueworx Voice Response is now installed" will be heard. If this message is not heard, please refer to Problem Determination.
Once you have successfully heard the message, start BAM, using:

BAM will then prompt you to read and accept a license. Read and accept the license to continue. If BAM fails to start, please refer to Problem Determination.

If you want to have BSM handle registering your users then start BSM, using:

BSM will then prompt you to read and accept a license. Read and accept the license to continue. If BSM fails to start, please refer to Problem Determination.
