Updating the License Key for a Standalone System

In order to update the license key BRM must be stopped, the license key updated and BRM then restarted.

To ensure that all existing calls are handled to completion and no new calls are accepted during this operation, follow this process:
  1. Quiesce BVR as described here Starting and Stopping BVR.
  2. Once BVR has stopped, quiesce BRM as described here Starting and Stopping BRM.
  3. Once BRM has stopped, update the license file, /opt/blueworx/rm/license/bvr.key with the new license.
  4. Restart BRM as described here Starting and Stopping BRM.
  5. Restart BVR as described here Starting and Stopping BVR.
