Control file keywords

base_language_identifier
Values: Numeric, in the range 1 to 255

Description: The language identifier of the voice segment on the base Blueworx Voice Response system.

base_voice_directory
Values: Alphanumeric, up to 15 characters

Description: The voice directory of the segment on the base Blueworx Voice Response system.

base_segment_compression
Values: compressed or uncompressed

Description: The compression type of the voice segment on the base Blueworx Voice Response system.

base_segment_identifier
Values: Numeric; in the range 0 to 65535

Description: The segment identifier of the voice segment on the base Blueworx Voice Response system.

character_encoding
The character encoding used in the control file. You need to set this only if your voice segment names use national characters (that is, 8-bit ASCII encoding or DBCS) and you are planning to share the control file across multiple systems. The name must be one of the “canonical names” listed on Sun’s “Supported Encodings” Web site at

segment_category
Values: Alphanumeric, up to 20 characters

Description: The category that Java applications will use to identify the voice segment.

segment_locale
Values: Alphanumeric, up to 15 characters (ll_CC or ll_CC_VARIANT)

Description: The locale that Java applications will use to identify the voice segment.

segment_name
Values: Alphanumeric, up to 20 characters

Description: The name that Java applications will use to identify the voice segment.
