A limited use version of DB2 Workgroup Server Edition, Version 10.5 is provided with Blueworx Voice Response for AIX . One limitation enforced in this bundled DB2 is: A limit (maximum) of 4 GB of instance memory. This limit will only be significant for (for example) very large voice messaging solutions; in which case the purchase of a full DB2 license may be advised. Other limitations are advised in the DB2 license. For the majority of Blueworx Voice Response for AIX users, none of these will be significant.
DB2 is provided only for the storage and management of data used by Blueworx Voice Response for AIX, and if it is to be used by other applications, a separate license must be purchased.
