Limiting message length

The maximum length of a message is controlled by the Record Voice Maximum system parameter in the General parameters group. This controls the length of any voice data that is recorded over the telephone, both messages and voice segments. If you change the value of Record Voice Maximum, you will have to stop Blueworx Voice Response and start it again, for the new value to take effect.

When the system is delivered, the parameter is set at 120 seconds. You can reset it to limit recorded voice to any number of seconds between 30 and 3600.

In a state table, you can override the value of the Record Voice Maximum system parameter, by setting the System : Maximum record time system variable (SV179).
