Capturing screens and defining fields

To pass information between a 3270 host application and a Blueworx Voice Response application, you must first capture the host screens that access and display the required information. You use Blueworx Voice Response terminal emulation and the 3270 Servers windows to capture the host screens.

On each screen that you capture, you identify the fields to which the server writes input data required by the 3270 host application and the fields from which the server reads the data required by your Blueworx Voice Response application. Once these fields are defined, your 3270 server script can pass input parameters to the host application and retrieve the resulting output values for your voice application.

Blueworx Voice Response does not support multiline fields for reading or writing data.
