The signaling daemon is a special process that is supplied with Blueworx Voice Response. The signaling daemon monitors the channel processes that are using the signaling interface. If one of the channel processes terminates abnormally for any reason, the state table will be unable to terminate any active call. In this case the signaling daemon clears the call by sending a special message to the signaling process. (The signaling daemon is not shown in the diagrams.)
