System initialization

This section describes the sequence of events involved in system initialization.

Figure 1 shows the sequence of events involved in system initialization.

The graphic is a simplified representation of the following text.
  1. The Blueworx Voice Response system starts.
  2. The Blueworx Voice Response system manager sends the SL_TRUNK_RECONFIG_REQ primitive for each trunk in the system to each signaling process.
  3. The signaling process uses the sl_query_sigproc() and sl_query_channel_group() subroutines to determine which trunks and channels it controls. The signaling process completes any initialization processing.
  4. The signaling process sends the SL_TRUNK_RECONFIG_CNF primitive.
  5. The Blueworx Voice Response system manager then places trunks into their initial states, as defined by the Operating Status system parameter. This may involve enabling trunks and channels.
