ISDN Layer 2 failed to stop its child process

The ISDN Layer 2 software has detected that its child process cannot be stopped. This process will keep polling the device driver to read data on the ISDN link.

After the trunk has been disabled, go to an AIX window and issue the command 'ps -eaf | grep lape'. On an active trunk there should be pairs of this process seen as 'lape 36'. If there are an odd number of 'lape' processes, do a 'kill -9' on the process with the unpaired number after it. If this error occurs frequently it may indicate a problem with Blueworx Voice Response. Disable and re-enable the trunk on which the error occurred and try again. If the problem persists, stop and restart the signalling process using the Custom Server Manager menu option. All other trunks using the signalling process are disabled by taking this action. If this does not solve the problem, shut down and restart Blueworx Voice Response. If none of the above is successful call Blueworx Support.
