You can set the initial operating status of the packs in two ways. From the Welcome Window:
Either way, you are setting the value of the Operating Status parameter, which defines the initial operating status of the pack and all of the channels on a trunk. That is the status of the pack whenever you restart Blueworx Voice Response.
The default initialization status for Pack 1 is Available. The default status for all other packs is Defined. When you have started to use a pack in production, consider changing the initial operating status to Inservice. Otherwise, if the system stops unexpectedly, the pack is not available to handle calls when the system restarts. Because Blueworx Voice Response includes an automatic restart feature (described in the Installation information), the system may restart when no one is present to put the trunk back in service.
