Starting CCXML services

CCXML services provide the CCXML browsers you need to handle telephone calls. CCXML services can be started on application nodes and Voice Response nodes, but the nodes must be configured to do so. You can do this using the dtjit configuration tool as described in Updating the configuration database, or by manually editing default.cff.

To configure CCXML services manually:

  1. At the top of the original default.cff, just above the required entry defining the plug-in to be used for playing cached prerecorded audio in VoiceXML applications, add a CCXML Service definition entry for the CCXML Browser:
  2. In the NodeName entry for the node on which you wish to run CCXML applications, add a CCXAppService entry for the CCXML Browser you defined previously in the CCXML Service definition entry.

To run CCXML applications on a Voice Response node, you also need to add a NumToApp mapping entry
