When you add a new voice response node to the plex, you must add a HostName configuration entry to the configuration database on the system management console.
For Java applications, if the characteristics of the new node are identical to those on another host, you can use the same NodeName configuration entry as in Example 1: both voice response nodes have the same default locale, the same default application, and the same group of applications started on them. (This approach is not recommended for VoiceXML and will not work with CCXML applications.) If you are using CCXML as in Example 4 or if the characteristics of the new node are different from the nodes you already have, as in Example 2, create a new NodeName entry for it.
