Stopping the run-time system

This procedure shuts down the Blueworx Voice Response system.

Start

  1. Restarting Blueworx Voice Response: Log on as dtuser or, if you are already logged on as root, reset the environment (see Setting the Blueworx Voice Response environment).
  2. Stopping Blueworx Voice Response : Type the following command and press Enter:
        DT_shutdown

The system shuts down all Blueworx Voice Response processes and ensures that all resources are freed.

Note: The DT_shutdown command does not shut down processes that have been started by custom servers. To shut down these processes, you must follow the instructions the custom servers provide.

Next step: Now use vaeinit to start up in the usual way, as described in Starting Blueworx Voice Response.
