What happens when you import objects belonging to an application that does not exist on the target system?

Whether you’re importing an application into a system for the first time, or if you have deleted the application and are importing it again, the answer to this question depends on whether you are importing a file that was the result of:

With full or delta export, the application is created in the target system and all the objects are placed within it.

With partial export, when the file is imported into another system, Blueworx Voice Response attempts to place each object into the application to which it belonged on the system from which it was exported. If an application with that name does not exist on the target system, the object is not created, and an error is reported.
