Possible values

Yes
No

Defaults

No

Explanation

Specifies whether Blueworx Voice Response expects the calling number to be padded. If you select No, Blueworx Voice Response expects the numbers not to be padded and handles each one as the actual calling number.

If you select Yes, Blueworx Voice Response strips from the calling number any leading characters that match the character that is set by Calling Number Character to Strip. This action continues until the number reaches the length defined by Calling Number Length (Minimum), or a character in the number does not match the Calling Number Character to Strip. If the calling number does not contain a leading character that matches the character that is set by Calling Number Character to Strip, Blueworx Voice Response assumes the calling number is not padded and handles it as such.

The Calling Number Stripping parameter allows variable-length numbers to be received in an exchange data link protocol that supports only fixed-length numbers.
