Exporting scripts

Use the following procedure to export scripts from a selected 3270 server to a file in the AIX filesystem:

1. From the Welcome window, click on Applications —> 3270 Servers
2. Select the server: Click the 3270 server that contains the script to be exported.
3. If scripts for the selected 3270 server are not displayed, click View —> Scripts.
4. Click Object —> Open. The system displays the selected script in the 3270 Script window.
5. Export the script: Click Utilities —> Export. The system displays the Export File window.
6. In the Selection field, specify the target file by typing the path name that identifies the file into which to export the script, or use the File Search window to find and click the file name. 7. Click OK. The script is copied in ASCII format to the selected file, overwriting any existing information.
8. Close the 3270 Script window.
