Comments in scripts

Comments can be inserted anywhere in a script.

Syntax


This picture shows the syntax for adding a line of comment to a script.

# Assign the widget to the wombat.

Procedure

To use the 3270 Script window’s Statements menu to add a line of comment to a script, follow this procedure:

  1. From the Welcome window, click on Applications —> 3270 Servers
  2. Selecting the Comment action : Click Statements —> Comment.

    The system displays the Enter Data window.

  3. Adding the comment to the script : Type the comment for one line in the input area, then click OK.

    The comment is added to the script.
